To introduce myself, I am Zita Hunya and I work as a self-employed herbalist.
I started up my own business in February 1998, based on my parents’ experiences of more than 30 years gained in herb-growing.
The first milestone in my business cycle occurred in the autumn of 1998 when the storage and manufacturing units were built. The next important step was the introduction of lavender in 2000 and later on the creation of hazelnut and almond plantations in 2002. In the following years the efficiency of production was increased by broadening the equipment park.
My spheres of activity at the moment imply the growing and manufacturing of several types of herbs and producing propagation materials that are completed with the hazelnut and almond plantations.
Plants produced by my business:
-ECHINACEA PALLIDA, PURPUREA, ANGUSTIFOLIA
Herbs produced by my family:
- SATUREJA MONTANA
- ORIGANUM VULGARIS
My aims and objectives are as follows:
- creating a palette of products of great variety while maintaining excellent quality;
- starting the growing of wild herbs;
- continuous development and broadening of my business;
- establishing a new market in parallel with my existing partners.
